Placing parts inside and on other parts: It was getting tedious having to scale a part to place another part on the base because parts don't detect the base when it's covered by parts. Sinking parts into creature: In SPORE GA's captain editor some of the captain parts had an extra arrow shaped like a cube that let you move a part on it's local Y axis. but instead of limbs it's chunks of metaballs with one singular connection point and acts as an extension of the base body, so you can place other parts on it.Ĥ.

The ability to manually paint your creature: I found the paint mode for SPORE's creature editor to be useful but lacking in variety since the base, coat and detail were pre-painted without any user input. I think that would make a good addition for when limbs can be separated into smaller parts.Ģ. Limbs made of metaballs: one thing that I liked about SPORE's creature editor was that you could use limbs for body parts like abs or extra body mass.
